Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid UX/UI Designer role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for partial work from home. The UX/UI Designer will create user-centered, visually engaging interfaces for Hey Nouri’s web and mobile experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and engaging for children, families, and clinicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research and usability testing, translating insights into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes, and refining designs based on feedback and data. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, clinicians, engineers, and content teams to align the user experience with medical guidelines and business goals. The UX/UI Designer will also support front-end implementation by providing detailed design specifications and working with developers to maintain design quality and consistency.

Qualifications
- Strong user experience skills, including User Experience (UX) research, information architecture, and interaction design.
- User Interface Design expertise, with ability to create cohesive design systems and high-fidelity screens for web and mobile.
- Visual Design capabilities to craft clear, engaging, and inclusive interfaces, including typography, color, and layout.
- Experience creating Mockups, wireframes, and clickable prototypes using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, XD).
- Foundational understanding of Front-End Development concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, ideally for consumer-facing or health-related applications.
- Ability to design for diverse users, including children and caregivers, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with gamified or behavior-change products is a plus.
