About us

Hey Nouri is building a new kind of healthcare experience for kids and families struggling with weight and metabolic health.

We combine great medical care with nutrition, behavior change and a product that kids actually want to use. We work with families over time — not for a 15-minute visit — and help kids build habits that make them healthier and stronger for life.

We’re growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Chief Medical Officer to own and help build the clinical side of Hey Nouri.

What you’ll do

You’ll be the medical leader of Hey Nouri. That means taking responsibility for the quality of care we deliver today, while helping us figure out what excellent care should look like as we grow.

You’ll:

  • Own our clinical protocols and standards of care across pediatric obesity and metabolic health
  • See patients and stay close to what families and clinicians actually experience
  • Lead and support our physicians and other clinical providers
  • Partner closely with our dietitians, product and operations teams
  • Help us build thoughtful, evidence-based approaches to obesity medications, including GLP-1s, when appropriate
  • Review difficult cases and be the person our clinical team can turn to when something isn’t straightforward
  • Own clinical quality, safety and outcomes
  • Help us measure whether what we’re doing actually works — and continuously make it better
  • Represent Hey Nouri externally with physicians, health plans, partners and, over time, the broader medical community
Who we’re looking for

First and foremost, we want an excellent doctor who genuinely likes taking care of kids and families.

You should:

  • Be an MD or DO and board certified in Pediatrics and ideally obesity
  • Have meaningful experience treating pediatric obesity, metabolic disease or a closely related population
  • Be comfortable with both lifestyle interventions and pharmacologic treatment
  • Care deeply about evidence, but also understand that healthcare needs to work in the real world
  • Be excited to build things rather than inherit a finished system
  • Have high standards without making everything unnecessarily complicated
  • Be warm, practical and very good with families
  • Want to work closely with a small, fast-moving team

Experience leading clinicians or building clinical programs is a big plus. Startup experience is helpful, but absolutely not required.

Why Hey Nouri

You build and run the medical function, rather than owning one small piece of a larger system.

You shape how we treat patients, using real-world data to understand what works, for whom, and why.

You work alongside a team that moves fast, tries things, measures them and keeps getting better.

You lead great doctors and set the clinical bar as we scale.

You have real ownership and a real opportunity to shape the future of pediatric obesity care.
