About Lumia
Lumia is building the next evolution in wearable health technology. Smart Earrings that translate complex physiological signals into clear, actionable health insights. Our product sits at the intersection of hardware, software, machine learning, and physiology.
We started by serving deeply underserved communities with POTS, ME/CFS, Long COVID, and related conditions, and are now expanding into a broader consumer wellness platform. Our founding team includes repeat entrepreneurs and ex-Bose engineers. We move fast, care deeply about quality, and build products with taste and scientific rigour.
The Role
We're hiring our first Senior PM to own and scale Lumia's software experience. You'll work directly with the CEO, Design, Engineering, Research, and Marketing to define what gets built, why it matters, and how we ship it with quality and speed.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll be responsible for both defining the right product and helping the team ship it well.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Design to take features from rough idea through polished UX
- Shape and maintain the product roadmap alongside the CEO
- Write strong specs and tickets that are easy for engineering to act on
- Manage sprint and release processes end-to-end
- Pressure test concepts with users before committing to build
- Define success criteria and use data and feedback to drive iteration
- Investigate user issues beyond the surface symptom diagnosis, not just triage
What We're Looking For
- 5–8+ years of product management experience
- Strong consumer mobile product background
- Sharp UX instincts and product judgment
- Experience with hardware, wearables, or data-driven products is a plus
- Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and leads through doing
You're someone with genuine first-person product conviction. You use and obsess over products, you think in outcomes not features, and you know the difference between MVP and unnecessary complexity.
Compensation
- Salary: $150K–$200K depending on experience
- Equity: $250K–$1M (~0.2%–0.7%)
- Health insurance, 401k, and Pastry Fridays
