About Rosie

Rosie is reimagining care, for families and for caregivers.

We created a new category of family care: flexible, on-demand household support on a membership, backed by a bench of vetted and professional Pros who know your family. Families finally have a way to get the help they actually need with minimal effort.

We're building the infrastructure that powers modern family life: a world where parents book care the way they text a friend, where caregivers build real careers doing work they're proud of, and where having support at home just feels normal.

The Role

We're looking for a contract or part-time Social Media Manager to own Rosie's presence across social media channels. You'll run the strategy, the content, the calendar, and the community, translating Rosie's voice and member experience into posts and a feed that parents actually stop for and Pros are proud to share.

This is a hands-on content role. You'll write the captions, cut the video, catch the trend while it's still a trend, and stay close to what's resonating. You'll work directly with our Head of Brand and Marketing to keep everything on voice while you move fast.

Rosie's brand is warm, real, and a little bit cool. We coach without lecturing, we talk to grownups like grownups, and we never sound like a corporate care brand. You'll live inside that voice every day and creatively expand how its received.

Who You Are

  • Native to social: You think in short-form video and scroll-stopping hooks. You know why one post works and the next one flops.

  • A maker: You can shoot, edit, caption, and publish without a production team behind you. You turn a rough idea into a finished post the same day.

  • On voice, fast: You pick up a brand's voice quickly and keep it consistent across every platform, even at volume.

  • Trend-fluent: You know what's happening on TikTok and Instagram this week, and you have taste about which trends fit Rosie and which don't.

  • Community-minded: You like talking to people. You reply to comments, spot the fans, and turn them into a community.

  • Self-directed: You run your own process. You can take a loose brief and come back with a plan, or lead with ideas & experiments yourself.

  • Tech-forward: You know what to spend your time on, what tools to use, and how to produce a lot with a little.

What You'll Do

  • Own the content calendar: Plan, produce, and publish across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Keep a steady, high-quality cadence.

  • Make the content: Write captions, film and edit short-form video, and design simple graphics that fit the brand.

  • Grow the community: Manage comments and DMs, engage with parents and Pros, and build real relationships in the replies.

  • Ride the moment: Jump on trends, cultural moments, and Rosie milestones while they're still fresh.

  • Stay on voice: Work with the Head of Brand and Marketing to keep every post sounding like Rosie.

  • Track what works: Watch the numbers, learn from them, and double down on the formats that land.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years running social media for a brand, creator, or startup, with accounts you can point to.

  • A portfolio of short-form video and social content you've made yourself.

  • Strong copywriting and a feel for voice and tone.

  • Fluency with Instagram and TikTok, and comfort with editing tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar.

  • Ability to work independently and turn work around quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer, parenting, care, or marketplace brands.

  • A track record growing an account from early or from scratch.

  • Comfort on camera, and directing the people who are.

  • Experience working directly with founders or a small team.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for content and editing.

  • Lives in the Seattle area and can be present at Rosie events & HQ (nice to have)

Why Join Now

  • Impact: You'll shape how thousands of families and caregivers first meet Rosie.

  • Creative range: A real brand voice, a fresh category, and the freedom to try things and see what sticks.

  • Momentum: A founding team that moves fast and ships, so your work goes live instead of sitting in review.

  • Mission: The families and Pros you're posting for are navigating one of the hardest parts of modern life. The work matters.

Compensation

Contract role, billed hourly or on a monthly retainer depending on scope and hours. We'll agree on rate and time commitment up front.

To apply, email hi@rosiematch.com with links to 2–3 accounts or posts you've made, and a few sentences on why Rosie's the kind of brand you'd want to run.
